About Us
Crooked Dagger LLC was started by Steve Norsworthy, a 10-year Army veteran. After leaving the Army as an Airborne Ranger, Steve pursued a career in manufacturing. He managed operations making a variety of products from golf carts to fire and rescue trucks. Steve always had a desire to express his creative side and own his own business. Out of those desires Crooked Dagger LLC was born.
Steve grew up in suburban Atlanta, the youngest son of blue-collar parents. He and his neighborhood friends were always making things. Steve’s dad was a talented jack-of-all-trades and he learned a great deal just by watching his father build and repair things around the house. He used to spend a week or two every summer on his Uncle Horace’s farm. His uncle’s farm was like paradise, lots of animals to play with and a well-equipped repair shop with a wonderful assortment of tools and machines.
One summer he spent a great deal of time using his uncle’s large anvil and blacksmith hammers to make “knives” out of ten penny nails. This type of childhood set the stage for his creativity later in life.
The products you see here are all original designs by Steve. As you may have noticed, the designs use many non-traditional materials to include industrial parts. Using these materials and parts enables Steve to design truly unique and distinctive products with a minimalist, urban flair to them.
Every product on our website is hand-crafted, one-at-a time.
